Chiropractic treatment can give relief from pain, release muscular tension and help a wide variety of conditions.

McTimoney Chiropractic is a gentle and effective treatment for the whole body.  The body works as a whole and we therefore treat it as a whole, so that not only are specific pains relieved, but the body's own self-healing mechanism is stimulated to promote optimum health.

It is suitable for everyone, from babies to the elderly, and even for pregnant women.

The whole body is assessed on each occasion and half an hour is allowed for each treatment.  The initial consultation and treatment takes longer as a full medical history is required.

Ask for a free assessment if you are uncertain whether McTimoney Chiropractic is for you.

Chiropractic means "done by hand"

(Greek: cheir = hand,

praktikos = done by)

It is a system of complementary medicine based on the diagnosis and manipulative treatment of misalignments of the joints, especially those of the spinal column.

Is what you eat affecting your health?

Millions of people suffer from food intolerance.  This type of delayed reaction to food (as opposed to acute allergy) is known to contribute to many chronic conditions and general unwellness.   As part of our holistic approach to health and well being, we offer laboratory tests to check whether you have any food intolerance, and if so precisely which foods are causing you problems (and, perhaps more importantly, which you can still enjoy freely!)
